So. I’m about 3 hours away from getting on a boat and going up the Ucayali River to a little Shipibo village called Poayan. I’ll be dieting Chiricsanango for about 10 days, and hopefully returning sometime around the 28th, though the boats are apparently unreliable. I’ll be attempting to keep a journal during the experience, and I’ll be posting here when I get back. Not worried about the journey itself, but I’m not entirely sure what to expect of the dieta. I’m looking forward to the work, though. Of that much I’m certain.
